He is survived by: his wife Shirley McKellop of Collinsville; his children, James Freeman, Sr. (Jeana) of Bartlesville, Oklahoma. and Joy Armbrister (Alex) of Chouteau, Oklahoma.; and his siblings, Carol Croffut (Riley) of Ramona, Danny Freeman (Phyllis) of Okesa and Connie Witte (Kevin) of Ochelata, Oklahoma..
