She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvin Owens and Dora Ethel Owens (Hawkins); her husband John Deen (Jack Claypool); her son Bill Deen; her brother Leon; her siblings-in-law, Naomi Owens, David Billbe and Letha (Wayne Weeks); her nephew Danny Billbe; and her parents-in-law, Gertrude and Oscar Deen.
She is survived by: her former husband Jack Claypool; her children, Betty Deen of Bartlesville and Dale Deen of Honolulu, Hawaii; her daughter-in-law Mary Deen of Henderson, Nevada; and her sisters, Evelyn Billbe of Bartlesville and Dortha Mae (Don Hudson) of Bartlesville. She is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
To honor her great love of the Lord, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to her cherished New Harmony Baptist Church as they continue to share God's love and promises with others.
