He is survived by: his wife Wanda Neel; his children, Robert (Suzanne Stevenson) of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Dana (Travis Foster) of Owasso, Oklahoma; his brother Ian (Elizabeth Stevenson) of Largo, Florida; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Jacob, Joshua Stevenson, Reagan and Taylor Foster.

“I am is sad to hear of the loss of Don. Don got me started in officiating football many years ago. The Sunday after each game, he would go over the game film with me to correct my mistakes and make me a better official. I officiated for 25 years and thought of Don often in all aspects of the game. I helped train younger officials because I was shown that it was about having a relationship with people, not just the rules. We shared many good times at church and our kids loved yours. God Bless”
