He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Roy Glen Pierce and Silvia McGuire Pierce; his son Sam Wassom; his wife Eva Jo Pierce; his children, Melba Marlin, Quintin Pierce, Kathy Taylor (Robert) and Cindy White (James); his sister Patty Davidson; and his grandchildren, Laronda Edwards (Todd), Casey Miller (Kim), Cyle Miller (Leah), Ryan Miller, Shanna Baker (Dan), Patricia Postrach (Casey) of Melissa Postrach, BW, Shayne Marlin (Crala) and Danielle White. He was also cherished by twelve great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
