She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Wooten; her husband David A. Carter; her children, Davin A. Carter Sr. (Amber), Angela J. Carter (Jade McConnell-Carter) and Jasmyn Carter; her grandchildren, Jordyn (Angie), Alexis, Nathan, Maxamilliyana, Davin Jr. and Grayson; her great grandchildren, Emma, Nicole, Erika, Elijah, Ezekiel and Elliott; and her siblings, Oscar Downing, Paul Downing (Louise), Farris Downing, Bobby Downing (Theresa), Gladys Doyle, Juanita Banks, Verna Rogers, Karon Watson, Vina Ramsey and Valorie Downing. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
