He was predeceased by: his parents, Loren James and Phebe Shelts (Hall). He is survived by: his wife Kathy Rogers Clow; his daughter Lucki Lowry; his grandchildren, Eliza Norris and Wesley Taylor; his siblings, Mark Shelts (Candy), Judy Kimbley (Kenneth) and Phil Shelts (Diana); and his siblings' children, Bart Shelts, Kristi Kreischer, Mike Shelts and Brad Shelts.
