He was predeceased by: his parents, Abolgasem Tayebi and Nayereh Jahansusi; his sisters, Jamileh Gharavi, Shamsi Khoie and Fakhri Omid; and his nephew Reza Omid.
He is survived by: his wife Delberta Jean Tayebi of Bartlesville, OK; his children, MSgt Hamid Jim Tayebi (Sharon) of Navarre, FL and Haleh Liittjohann (Mike) of The Woodlands, TX; his grandsons, Matthew Tayebi (Christy), Marshall Tayebi, Alex Tayebi and Martin Liittjohann; and his sibling's children, Mohammad Gharavi, Abdee Gharavi (Sheida), Ali Reza Gharavi, Maryam Omid and Mina Khoie-Fard.
