He is survived by: his parents, James Leonard Dodson of Ponca City and Kathryn Dodson (Stout) of Bartlesville; his fiancée Irene Baca-Grein; his children, Reyanna Towe (Tyler) of Blackwell, Samuel J. Dodson of Bartlesville, Christopher J. Dodson of Blackwell and Logan M. Dodson of Ramona, Oklahoma; his siblings, James Dodson of Bartlesville and Kimberly A. S. Espinoza of Ponca City; and his grandchildren, Cashton, Carson and Corbin Hays. He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.
