He was predeceased by: his parents, Lenora B. Miller Gardner and Orville A. Gardner; his siblings, Myrna L. Willcox-Margwarth and Michael R. Gardner; and his wife Mary K. Goins Gardner.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie Gaye of Sequoyah, Kelley Denise of Ramona, James Michael of Ramona and Timothy Kent of Florida; and his cousins, Richard and Sally Gardner of Bartlesville. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
