Jimmy left this world on August 20, 2025 at the age of 84, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Arvil Burton and Ruth Etolia Gibson Burton; and his sister Beverly Ann Burton Collins. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Prentice Burton; his brother Ronnie Burton; his children, Melissa "Missy" Bush, Erick Burton, Jeremy Burton and Sarah Vann; his grandchildren, Tyler Bush, Madyson Bush Boultinghouse, Megan Bush Warren, Connor Burton, Joe Burton, Macy Bush, Evan Burton, Sydney Vann, Emma Burton, Seth Vann and Hope Burton; and his great grandchildren, Tyce Bush, Trace Bush, Blakely Boultinghouse and Hadleigh Warren. He is also survived by four children, who gave them 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Riveted Church (14765 N 52nd W Ave, Skiatook, OK 74070).
