He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred C. Donaldson and Lucille Donaldson (Yarcho); and his brother Richard Donaldson. He is survived by: his wife Lacele Donaldson; and his son Charles Ross Donaldson (Becky Bell).

“To the family of Jack Donaldson: Thank you for sharing Jack with me! Every Sunday for the past two years I sat in a pew a few rows away from Jack. I was eager to greet him and shake his hand every time I saw him, in his regular (favorite?) pew. On occasion, I would chat with him after the service while he was waiting on the arrival of his dutiful son. Last Suday, it was announced that Jack was not feeling well. To my surprise, he left this Earth on Monday. I will deeply miss my time with him!!!!”
