The memory of Larry George Godwin of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 26, 2025 at the age of 80, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, O. D. Godwin and Elvie Godwin; his siblings, Dewey, James Godwin and Christine McKenzie; and his granddaughter Brittany Godwin.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Gilliam Godwin; his children, Darron Godwin of Celeste, Jared, Cathy Godwin of Bartlesville, Marcy and Jody Burch of Bartlesville; his grandchildren, Emily Godwin, Beau Godwin, Abby, Anthony Hughes, Presley, David Rathbone, Drew Godwin, Reece Burch and Ryker Burch; and his great grandchild Jayden Godwin. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chapel of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home (5100 I-30 Frontage Rd East, Greenville, TX 75402). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
Donations may be made in Larry's memory to The Journey Home, a hospice care facility in Bartlesville, Oklahoma.
