She was predeceased by: her husband Vance Bates; Floyd McDowell and Wanda McDowell (Dowler). She is survived by: her children, Curt, Janie Bates of Edmond, Scott Bates of Oklahoma City, Cliff Bates of Glenpool and Kim Brady Bates of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lynn Lane Baptist Church (1200 S Lynn Ln, Broken Arrow, OK 74012).
