She was predeceased by: her parents, John Howe and Mildred Howe (Vail); and her brother John Owen Howe. She is survived by: her husband Tom Spence; her sons, John Spence (Gail) of Bartlesville and Dr. Craig Spence (Michele) of Vinita; her sister Wanda Dane of Collinsville; and her grandchildren, Kori Sauer (Jason), Will Spence (Libby), Matt Spence (Erin), Curt Spence (Kaitlyn) and Michael Spence. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Craig County Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
