He was predeceased by: his mother Dorothy B. Edwards (Adams); his grandparents, Emmett and Ollie Mae Adams; his parent Gorgon Edwards; his parents-in-law, Beatrice Townley and Delbert Townley; his brother-in-law David Townley; and his nephew Gregory Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Katherine Sanders of Pawhuska, His; his son O. J. Rackler (Kelly) of Caribou Maine; his grandchildren, Jonah Rackler of Orrington Maine, Kameron Rackler of Caribou Maine and Zoey Rackler (Corrine Rogers) of York Maine; his sister-in-law Paula Townley of Pawhuska; his brother Kenny Spears (Alice) of Barnsdall; his nieces and nephews, Cristy Fuller (Jared), Rebecca Souter (Sam), Hannah Crawford (Tyler), Elizabeth James (Justin), Jessica Spears, Jony Deatherage (Stephanie), Drew Swan (Cassie), Will Swan (Cheyenne), Kenneth Spears Jr. (Sierra) and Perry Brown; and his close friend John Sayre (Gina).
