It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Udell Byfield of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, who passed away on November 30, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Geoffrey Udell and Betty Ann Byfield (Pittman). He is survived by: his wife Rita Rae Nichols; his children, Michael Sean Byfield, Jennifer Fields, Kristi Leigh Byfield, Ben Davies and Kathleen Elisa Byfield; his aunts, Donna Sheridan and Patty Ann Whiteman; his grandchildren, Michael Lukas Byfield, Gray Byfield-Davies and Eva Byfield Davies; and his friend Roland Jack Conner.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ozark Christian College, 1111 N. Main, Joplin, MO 64801.
