She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil G. Shippy and Daisy Ann Hays Shippy; and her siblings, Dorothy Jean Shippy Swayne, Chester LeRoy Shippy (Chet) and Raymond Lee Shippy (Butch).
She is survived by: her children, Tom Ward II (Rhoda Risner) and Lu Ann Klevecz (Jack Klevecz). She is also survived by six grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
