He was predeceased by: his parents, George Rueben Lasater and Anna Tyner Lasater; and his siblings, Arthur, Russell, Troy, Mildred, Pauline, Charles, Harry and Jennie.
He is survived by: his former wife Thelma McWhirt; his daughter Carol Lasater Howe; his wife Joy Punneo; his son-in-law Dick; his grandchildren, Michael (Deb) and Beth; his great grandchildren, Ben and Anna; and his stepchildren, David Punneo and Diane Ritter.
