He was predeceased by: his parents, George Buford and Murline Buford; and his sister Rosetta Bradley (Buford). He is survived by: his son James Robert Brian Buford; his wife Mary Jo of Oglesby; his daughter-in-law Denise Buford; his granddaughters, Jacqueline Cook (Jacob) and Jamie Cortina (Charlie); and his siblings, Frank (Donna), Bill (Jean) and Annette Parker (Buford). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
