He was predeceased by: his parents, J. K. Bennefield and Hazel Bennefield (Ogle); his wife Dorothy Ann Bennefield (Seibold); his sister Georgia Ruth Jefferson (Jeff); his brother-in-law Jerry Rowe; and his daughter-in-law Tina Bennefield.
He is survived by: his son Alan Bennefield; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Bennefield and A. J. Bennefield (Betty); his great grandchildren, Kaiden and Bristol; his son Jim Bennefield (Christy); his grandchildren, Kason Bennefield and Christopher (Gracey); his great grandchild Wesley; and his sister Nina Gaut. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory (1600 SE Washington Blvd, Bartlesville, OK 74006).
