He was predeceased by: his parents, John Benjamin Alsup and Joyce Ann Rogers Alsup; his siblings, Joyce Ann, Danny Rogers, Ricky Rogers and Leonard Ray "Rocky" Alsup; and his niece Valerie Kristen Kay Alsup.

He is survived by: his daughters, Lauren "Aj" Alsup, Amanda Faith Olvera, Valencia Shealyn Olvera Gensollen and Teri Pope; and his siblings, JB "Chip" Alsup, Linda Denny, Barbara, Christian and Anna Bishop. He is also survived by grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
