He was predeceased by: his parents, Mart Thomas and Bessie Lee Thomas (Linville); his son Roy Lee Thomas (Marsha); and his siblings, Ellis Thomas, Ralph Myers, Mart Thomas Jr., Bessie Linville, Ruby Dildine, Sue Thomas, Jimmy Thomas and Catherine Brown.
He is survived by: his child Shelby Huff (Jay); and his sister Francis Coffman. He is also survived by four grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
