She was predeceased by: her parents, James Calvin and Cora Jane Chambers Morris; her husband Cecil Carr; her son Billy Hardaway; her grandsons, Cody Hardaway and John Dagenhart; and her siblings, G. W. Morris, Dillard Morris, Rayford Morris and Jessie Smalling.

She is survived by: her children, Leo (Janice Hardaway), Kerry (Lisa Hardaway), Lloyd (Shannon Hardaway), Jane (Loy Dunlap) and Becky (Darrell Dagenhart); and her daughter-in-law Mary Hardaway of Attica, Indiana. She is also survived by seven step-children, thirteen grandchildren; twenty nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other beloved family and friends.
