With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Lewis (Bethany, Oklahoma), who passed away on February 29, 2024 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Barbara Lewis to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Stone and Dell Stone; her son Todd; and her former life partner Harry. She is survived by : her daughters, Catherine Lewis of Dibble and Jane Thompson (Suzy) of Eagan, MN.; her granddaughters, Emily and Wendy; and her great grandchildren, Olivia, Catherine and Josiah Farmer. She is also survived by co-workers as her family and close friends.

“I am so sorry to hear of Barbara’s death. She had sych an amazing life and her knowledge and passion for animals was inspiring to me. My own mom passed away from the same type of brain cancer and I often told Barbara how fortunate she was to be given precious time to spend with family after her diagnosis. I remember that she had a goal to live to a certain age, but I can’t recall the actual goal! Anyhow, I hope she saw it and I will never forget her. May God bless you and be with you. Karen”
