He is survived by: his children, Lauren Burdick and Johnanthan Kowals; his adoptive son Dyllon Wheeler; his grandchildren, Elijah, Emerson and Ethan Burdick; his brothers, Jim Kowals, John Kowals and Rick Kowals; and his close friend Jana Kowals. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
