She was predeceased by: her parents, Marcos Orta (Teresa Compean) and San Luis Potosí; her husband Jose N. Dominguez; and her brothers, Estevan Orta, Jesus Orta and Guadalupe Orta.
She is survived by: her children, Alvaro Orta, Ruth Delgado (Victor) and Cristi Carey (Bryan). She is also survived by 8 stepchildren; 29 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
