He is survived by: his wife Lavada June Jones (Avants); his children, Laura Ann Jones Watts of Oklahoma City and Timothy Lin Jones of Wayne, OK; and his grandchildren, Amanda Renee Jones Baxter of Sedalia, Missouri, Thomas Jefferson Watts, Colin Joel Watts of Oklahoma City, Andrew Lin Jones (Erica) of Atlanta, Timothy Austin Jones (Kaylee) and Aaron Michael Jones (Anna) of Texarkana, Texas. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 3:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mercer-Adams (3925 N Asbury Ave, Bethany, OK 73008). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Bethany, OK. (3800 N Mueller Ave, Bethany, OK 73008).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lin's name to the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma or the Oklahoma Alzheimer's Association.
