We bid farewell to Melva Jean Ladd of Bethany, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 3, 2025 at the age of 98. Melva Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Mearkle Karns and Verna Mabel Karns (Dawson); her sister Winifred Colleen Cornwell (Karns); and her brother-in-law Don E. Cornwell. She is survived by: her husband Forrest E. Ladd, Jr. of Yukon; her daughter Gwen Ellen Hackler (Ladd); her son-in-law Donald Raymond Hackler, Jr. of Oklahoma City; her sisters-in-law, Linda Nicholson Krause (Ladd) and Joan Clark (Ladd); and her cousins, Garry, Carolyn Pate (Karns) and Eileen Dawson Rollins (Dawson).
