He was predeceased by: his father Junior Louis Helton; and his grandparents, Bill, Essie Helton, Howard and Irma Mae Wright.

He is survived by: his mother Maxine Grace Helton (Wright); his brothers, Gregory Helton (Teresa) and Douglas Helton (Dianna); his nephews, Caleb (Autumn), Dakota (Bailey) and Marcus (Kaylin); and his niece Cheyenne (David). He is also survived by two great-nieces and one great-nephew.

He left this world after a noble fight with Parkinson's and cancer.
