She was predeceased by: her parents, WJ Pogue and Dora Dean Pogue (Turnipseed); her husband Robert Merkey; her son-in-law William White; and her brothers, David, Steven and Timothy Pogue.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Louise and Lydia Carol; her granddaughters, Karen, Kenlyn Merkey, Lydia and Samantha White; her siblings, Cathy Swanson (Kent), Kay Neuenschwander, Sharon Alston, Joy Sims (Darren) and Dennis Pogue (Kristi); and her sisters-in-law, Claretta Merkey and Sandra Brown (Jackie). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
