He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Edwards; his children, Gary Mercer (Sunni) of Bethany, Marla Cole (Tim) of Yukon, Lisa Jones (Ken) of Oklahoma City and Mike Mercer (Sabrina) of Houston; his grandchildren, Josh Mercer, Danica Whitman (Matt), Brian Cole (Heather), Jonathan Cole (Ariel), Cullen Jones (Ashleigh), Blair Berrones (Frankie), Allie Canobbio (Michael), Caitie Mercer, AnnaGrace Rodgers (Kyle), Fayth Fitzgerald-Tenpenny (Sam) and Seth Fitzgerald; and his great grandchildren, Audra, Desmond, Judah Mercer, Lenora, Asher Whitman, Sloane, Crew, London Cole, Brylan, Parker Cole, Beckam Washington, Ava Cannobio, Louisa, Emmaline and Genevieve Rodgers. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
