He was predeceased by: his sister Stephanie Ely Burchette; and his mother-in-law Sue Willoughby Yeargan. He is survived by: his parents, Bob Ely and Edith Ely; his wife Julie; his sons, Talmadge Ely (Kelley) of Edmond, OK and Devin Ely (Joely); his grandsons, Tatum Todd Ely and Paxton Ford Ely; his father-in-law Larry Yeargan, Sr. of Pauls Valley, OK; his brothers-in-law, Larry Yeargan, Jr. (Dana) and Stephen Yeargan; his uncle Jim Manning; his aunt Judy Spearman; and his friend Julie Yeargan.
