He was predeceased by: his wife Zula Fae Moore; his parents, Thomas Gurth Moore and Katherine "Katie" Moore Mayhew; his stepfather J. B. Mayhew; his son-in-law Ivan; and his grandson Joseph Galli.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Smith, Nathan Moore (Amy), Clay Moore (Cyndi) and Carol; and his brother Wesley Moore (Linda). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
