He is survived by: his children, Chicoty Shomo of De Queen, Albert Shomo, Jr. of Idabel, Cameron Shomo of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Mindy Shomo of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; and his siblings, Russell Jefferson of Atoka, Huey Jefferson of Bethel, Oklahoma, Patricia Shomo of Bethel and Deloris Samuels of Idabel, Oklahoma. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
