He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Dykes and Willie Dykes (Pybas); his former wife Betty Dykes; his daughter Karen Edwards; and his brother Paul Dykes.
He is survived by: his wife Iris Dykes of North Carolina; his children, Kendy McWherter and Ken Dykes; and his grandchildren, Lauren Young, Lacy Dawson, Lainey Maples, Candice Graves, Taylor McWherter, Casey McWherter, Kendall Dykes III, Kelsea Greenfield and Kassidy Benson. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, relatives, and dear friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Downtown Bixby Church of Christ (15802 S Memorial Dr, Bixby, OK 74008).
