He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hughes and Leona Hughes (Bullock); and his brothers, Gale and Ronald Hughes. He is survived by: his family Brenda Hughes; his son Connor Hughes; and his siblings, Alan Hughes and Joan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
