He is survived by: his wife Nell Simmons; his children, Chris Simmons (Jodi), Cindy Simmons, Melissa Box (Corey) and Michael Simmons (Laura); his grandchildren, Rose, Michael, Cameron, Brandon and Adam; and his siblings, Barbara McLaughlin, Charles Lee Simmons, Jr. (Penny) and Brian Simmons.
