He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford McConnell and Pauline McConnell; his brothers, Larry, Ronald and Leon McConnell of Blackwell; and his granddaughter Shanell Westerheide of Edmond.

He is survived by: his daughters, Phyllis McConnell Cobb (Rhett) of Edmond and Pam McConnell Brown (Mark) of Chillicothe, MO; his sister Chris Angelino (Tony Angelino); and his granddaughters, Sabrina Stark (Paul) of Edmond, Reese, Allie and Erin Brown of Chillicothe, MO. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.

The family asked that in lieu of flowers please send donations to the Norman Veterans Center at PO Box 1668, Norman, OK 73070.
