In the sacred silence of farewell, JoAnne is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jo Jones and Wonetta Jones; her husband Marvin Bonewell; and her children, Anita Rollins and Phillip Bonewell.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca "Becky" Ryan of Blackwell, Marva Jones (Gary) of Blackwell and Dennis Bonewell (Tracee) of Blackwell. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, and numerous great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. A graveside service was held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Blackwell Cemetery (2244 S Main St, Blackwell, OK 74631).
A memorial has been established in her memory with the Oklahoma Blood Institute c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home.
