He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Stuart and Mary Catherine Stuart. He is survived by : his daughter Karey Stuart Henderson (Craig Copeland); his wife Kathy Smart Stuart (Smart); his son Nic Stuart; his granddaughters, Paige Henderson, Hope Henderson and Chloe Henderson; and his siblings, Danny Stuart (Becky), Bill Stuart (Mary), Jessie DeJong (Rudy), Cathey Young (Brent) and Roberta James (Kenneth). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established in his honor with the Blackwell Senior Men's Golf Group in c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home, 120 W. Padon Ave., Blackwell, Oklahoma 74631.
