She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur McGill and Althea McGill (Groundwater); her grandmother Elizabeth Nevergall; her husband Willie Rush; her sons, Chuck Rush and Mark Brittain; her brothers, Arthur J McGill and David L McGill; her great grandchild Remington Cunningham; and her granddaughter Nadia Monteneri.

She is survived by: her siblings, Francis "Smiley" McGill (Helen) of Corsicanna, Texas, Joyce Gibout of Springfield, Missouri, Betty Schreiner of Girard, Kansas, Charles "Hank" McGill (Marilyn) of Olathe, Kansas, Dale McGill (Theresa) of Emporia, Kansas and Sandy Whinery of Emporia, Kansas; her sister-in-law Linda McGill of Hartford, Kansas.; and her extended family, Sally Delaney, Susan, Tom Marshall, Kim Brittain and Barbara Fairchild. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene, in Blackwell, in care of Roberts and Son Funeral Home.
