She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Stone and Ruby Stone (Tucker); her brother Clarence "Buck" Stone; and her siblings-in-law, Mark Mitchell, John Mitchell, Bob Trammell, Monty Jones, Darlene Mitchell and Mary Jones.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sharron Blubaugh (Ray) of Oklahoma City and Shirley Zimmerman (Stephen) of Orange, Texas; her sister Gladys Trammell of Greenville, Texas; her grandchildren, Corley Zimmerman, Stephanie Drake (Daryl), Angela Zimmerman (Eaves), Mitch McNamara (Stephanie) and Sean Blubaugh; and her great grandchildren, Logan Zimmerman, Leah Drake, Teagan McNamara and Liam McNamara. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A memorial has been established in Thelma's memory with the First Baptist Church in Blackwell, c/o Roberts and Son Funeral Home.
