He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Sorrell and Hazel Sorrell (Burns); and his sisters, Gloria S. and Ivon Buehler. He is survived by: his wife Alice Mae Sorrell (Rodriguez); his children, Joseph Sorrell of Edmond and Jana (Brad Brum) of Blanchard; his grandchildren, Presley and Ryder Brum of Blanchard; and his siblings, Lonnie (Charlene Sorrell) and JoAnn Clayton of Wynnewood.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, September 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Eisenhour Funeral Home (2500 N Council Ave, Blanchard, OK 73010). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Watch Video Eisenhour Funeral Home (2500 N Council Ave, Blanchard, OK 73010). A burial was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at the Blanchard Cemetery (2318 N Council Ave, Blanchard, OK 73010).
He was a strong advocate of blood donation, giving often.
