She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thornton Butler and Dorothy May Thompson (McKinney); her brother Richard Butler; her stepfather W. O. Thompson; and her grandson Dalton Powell.
She is survived by: her husband Norman Walden; her children, Shannon (Susie Estep) of Texas, Mandy (Mark Halvorson) of South Dakota and Melissia (Jeremiah Kittley) of Newcastle; her brother Dan (KO Butler) of Piedmont; her grandchildren, Wyatt (Lauren Powell), Cutter Estep, Rope Powell, Brooklyn (Daniel Beaty), Cooper Estep, Jacci Hill and Tegan Arnold; and her great grandchildren, Kinley, Brayley, Oakley, Shiloh, Houston, Athena and Lyla. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
