It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harvey Townsend of Blanchard, Oklahoma, born in Lawton, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 12, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Oliver Townsend and Ruth Townsend; his wife Coreena Townsend; his grandson Kyle Townsend; and his siblings-in-law, NJ Burton and June Wood.

He is survived by : his sons, Tommie Townsend (Shirley), Tonie Townsend, Mark Townsend (Sarah) and Monty Townsend (Kim); his granddaughter Heidi Sherman (family: Arlo Hurst, Joe Bates, Tyler Townsend, Bryce Townsend); his great grandchildren, Ryder Townsend, Stanton Townsend, Tanner Harvey Townsend and Kylee Townsend; his siblings, Joyce Daves, Margaret Claborn-Calahan, David Townsend and Jerry Townsend (Jody); and his siblings-in-law, Donnie Burton (Frances), Walter Wood, Helen Timothy (John) and Ruth Burton. He is also survived by many friends and family.
