He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Clay Richey and Shay Richey (Ramsey); his brothers, Edward, Roley and Jimmy; and his stepmother Jewell.
He is survived by: his wife Mona Raye Taylor; his close friends, Homer Young, Waldo Young and Delbert Akin; and his children, Garry Richey (Donna) of San Antonio, TX, Rhonda Giles (Frank) of Newcastle, OK and Dana Jinks (Tom) of Burkburnett, TX. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Newcastle Free Will Baptist Church (3133 NW 24th St, Newcastle, OK 73065).
