With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Sill Sr. (Blanchard, Oklahoma), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on September 17, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elzy Leroy and Zana May Sill; his siblings, Jimmie Leroy Sill and Bobbie Jean Lee; and his stepdaughter Maryann Porter.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sill; his children, John Jr. (Carolyn) of Blanchard and Terri Pierce (Charles Gaines); his grandchildren, Amanda Lewis (Bear), Rachel Jackson (Sean), Caitlin Sill, Lance Pierce and Logan Pierce (Lexy); his great grandchildren, Rhett, Fynlee, Charlie, Grey and Bodhi; and his stepchildren, Steve West, Diana Jeffcoat (Preston) and Tammy Minyen. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eisenhour Funeral Home (2500 N Council Ave, Blanchard, OK 73010). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Watch Video Eisenhour Funeral Home (2500 N Council Ave, Blanchard, OK 73010). A burial was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at the Blanchard Cemetery.
