She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Bell Miller and Fay Blackwell (Harper); her husband Monty Troy Brooks; and her sisters, Barbara Thompson, Shirley Hann and Patsy Hall.
She is survived by: her daughter Robin Jennette Brooks (Shawn Sullivan); her grandchildren, Montana James Sullivan and Layla Joy Sullivan; and her sisters, Carol Cooper and Vivian Cole. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Jody's name either to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church or to the Blanchard High School Band and Music Programs.
