She was predeceased by: her parents, Wes Burney Welchel and Lottie Lorene Welchel (McKinney); her husband Bud Garrett; her brothers, J. H. and Ted Welchel; and her brother-in-law Virgil Carroll.
She is survived by: her daughters, Angie Garrett and Sharita Hill; her grandchildren, Josh Garrett (Carsyn), Harlee Garrett, Nikki Hill, Natalie Hill and Ryan Armstead (Hannah); her great grandchildren, Laine, Novalee and Waylon; her sister Lottie Mae Carroll of Arkansas; and her sisters-in-law, Brenda Welchel of Eufaula and Barbara Knox of Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Eisenhour Funeral Home (2500 N Council Ave, Blanchard, OK 73010). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at the Fairview Cemetery (1001 E Rock Creek Rd, Tuttle, OK 73089).
