With solemn reverence, we commemorate Steve Buchanan of Blanchard, Oklahoma, born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, whose life came to an end on October 3, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Buchanan Jr. and Eleanor Ann Whitener; his stepfather Kenneth Tice; and his brothers, David Scott Buchanan and Raymond Tice.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Buchanan; his daughters, Stephanie Brooks (Steve) of Mustang and Marcia Shottenkirk (Jerry) of Mustang; his siblings, Neva Parker of Oklahoma City and Gene Tice (Deena) of Yukon; his grandchildren, Kaylyn Lindley (LT Tristan Lindley), Kaleb Brooks, Sage Brooks, Molly Shottenkirk and Jack Shottenkirk; and his great grandchild Beau Lindley.
Viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sunset Memorial (3132 Tri City Ave, Newcastle, OK 73065). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Newcastle First Baptist Church (1650 N Main St, Newcastle, OK 73065).
